The method of moments is used to investigate the propagation of a planar pulse in the mode of tunnel ionization. A system of equations is obtained for the parameters of a signal and the conditions for its quasi-stable propagation are found according to Lyapunov. The study was performed at Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, Kaliningrad State Technical University, and Joint Institute for Nuclear Research.
